I had a fantastic stay at The Rectory in the beautiful village of Lacock. The cottage was clean, light, and cosy, perfect for my family of 5. The owners, Helen and Wyatt, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The location was ideal, within walking distance of pubs and local attractions. Despite being close to a main road, there was no road noise inside the cottage. We enjoyed comfortable beds and all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. it was a wonderful experience.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊

Loved the limited parking, because who needs more than one car? Golfing and hiking activities were sooo exciting. The outdoor seating area was fabulous, I mean, what's better than sitting outside and watching the world go by? The kitchen had an oven, so I could pretend to be a master chef. And the WiFi worked, so I didn't have to endure any pesky human interaction.
Nothing, absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was just perfect.

The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and a beautiful countryside setting. We also enjoyed the tranquility and peacefulness of the surroundings.
The cottage was quite small, and the smaller bedroom with bunk beds felt cramped. the sound from the nearby main road was quite noticeable, which affected our sleep quality.

We had a fantastic Christmas getaway! The cottages were spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The owners have taken great care with cleaning procedures, which was reassuring during these times. The location was perfect, with charming pubs and local attractions within walking distance. We also loved the fact that despite being close to a main road, there was no noise inside the cottage. It was a cozy and comfortable space for our family of 5. Lastly, the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Our only disappointment was that the accommodation description wasn't fully accurate. We expected access to the private grounds, but it turned out to be limited to a small fenced-off area around the cottages.

Our family get-together at The Rectory was absolutely mind-blowing! The cottages were clean, well-equipped, and the living area was super spacious. We loved the outside area and the easy access to the town and Abbey. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing us with milk, tea, and coffee. The radiators heated the rooms in seconds, and the nice bath was a jaw-dropping plus after a long day. The free wi-fi was a bonus, and the provided DVDs made the evenings even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to Badminton for horse trials and beautiful walks around the village. our stay was super comfortable and we had everything we needed.
